Burnaby Christmas Bureau
The Burnaby Christmas Bureau provides Burnaby families with low income food gift certificates and new toys at Christmas.
The Burnaby Christmas Bureau strives to ensure that every child has gifts to open on Christmas day and every family can mark the season with a traditional holiday meal.
In 2007 we distributed $98,490 in Safeway gift certificates to 4,126 families and enough toys for 2,199 children thanks to the generosity and support of the Burnaby community. Learn more:

How We Help
At the Burnaby Christmas Bureau, we ensure that Burnaby families with low-income will not go without food and children will not go without toys during the holiday season.
This program is about the well-being of our clients and our community. It continues to be beneficial in helping thousands of people, clients and volunteers alike, have an unforgettable holiday season.
Parents get to choose toys from their children’s wish list from our toy room and use the food gift certificates to buy all the fixings for traditional holiday meals.

How You Can Help
Generous donations from individual and corporate community members allow us to make Christmas bright for those in need.
Ways to contribute include:
:: Donate money Your donation will go towards purchasing food gift certificates. Contribute by clicking here.
:: Donate toys Our toy room is stocked with the generous donation of the community. Click here for the toy suggestion list
:: Participate in the Angel Project We can provide you with a decorative poster and postcards featuring the names, ages & genders of typical Burnaby children.
Usually they are posted somewhere employees and/or customers can pick a child to buy a Christmas gift for.
This is a great alternative to having a "Secret Santa" at work. Click here for the Angel Project Package.
:: Sponsor a family We bring together needy families with sponsors who provide food, clothes, and toys for the family. Click here for a Sponsorship Package.
